Attorney General Reveals Inquiry into President's Adversaries and Jeffrey Epstein Links

This past Friday, the Attorney General appointed interim US attorney Jay Clayton to head an probe into opponents of Donald Trump and their links with Jeffrey Epstein. This move came shortly after the president directed her to launch the investigation.

During an announcement, Bondi highlighted Jay Clayton as “a highly skilled and reliable legal expert”. The official remarked, “The department will handle this matter promptly and thoroughly to provide clarity for citizens.”

This development appears to contradict a July memo from federal authorities which stated that documents related to Epstein lacked grounds for further inquiries. According to the memo, authorities “found no proof justifying probes into uncharged individuals”

The President Calls for Focus on Political Opponents in Epstein Case

This news comes as increasing demands from Trump on congressional Republicans to oppose the full release of Epstein-related documents ahead of an key congressional decision next week. Many Republicans are expected to support the disclosure.

Newly public communications from Jeffrey Epstein have brought attention to Trump’s past involvement with the sex trafficker, including details that he knew more about Epstein’s conduct than he has previously let on.
